6th International Congress on Uniform Distribution Theory

October 1, 2018 00:00 - october 5, 2018 00:00

From October 1 to 5, 2018, the Mathematics Laboratory (LAMA) atUniversité Savoie Mont Blanc is organizing, together with the University of Liverpool, the 6th International Congress on Uniform Distribution Theory.

about the symposium

The International Symposium on "Uniform Distribution" (UDT) is an event that takes place every two years. It is a very important forum for the community it serves. It is held at various locations in Europe. The scientific field concerned is well represented in many Institutes and Laboratories, mainly in Europe, and the "UDT" symposia are a source of inspiration and stimulation for the whole community.
The aim of the symposium is to present the most recent developments in uniform distribution theory, covering several areas of number theory and ergodic theory; in particular, all theoretical, numerical, combinatorial, diophantine and probabilistic aspects are covered. Several sessions will be devoted to developments in one-dimensional and multi-dimensional continued fractions.

UDT's subjects present a diversity whose details can be found here.

This meeting invites active researchers to present their work in these fields.
