From March 8 to April 5, the "Plus d'égalité" (More Equality) Festival will take place on the campuses of the University of Savoie Mont Blanc (USMB) and at partner venues. The goal of the various events at this festival is to take the time to ask questions, accept confrontation, imagine solutions, and above all, reflect and debate together on issues of equality. USMB offers conferences, round tables, and meetings with artists and specialists who will question our representations of the relationship between women and men.
On Friday, March 23, meetAnne Nivat,renowned reporter and war correspondent, as part of the "Plus d'égalité" Festival. The meeting will take place from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the IAE Savoie Mont Blanc premises on the Annecy campus. The meeting is organized by the USMB Business Club.

Anne Nivat is a foreign correspondent and writer. She is a recognized expert on Russia, where she lived for ten years (until 2006). Since the September 11 attacks, Anne Nivat has been traveling independently to the most violent places on the planet. In Chechnya, Afghanistan, and Pakistan, she continues to work in her own way: giving a voice to those who do not have one and asserting the right to take time and explore complexity, rejecting haste, stereotypes, and the race for scoops.
Anne Nivat has published numerous works, including Chienne de guerre (Fayard, 2000), for which she received the Albert Londres Prize; Algérienne, in collaboration with Louisette Ighilahriz (Fayard, 2001); La Guerre qui n’aura pas eu lieu (The War That Never Was) (Fayard, 2004); Lendemains de guerre (Fayard, 2004); Islamistes: comment ils nous voient (Fayard, 2006); and Par les monts et les plaines d’Asie centrale (Fayard, 2006).
