Human and robot, what place for what society? - Conference/debate on autonomous systems

october 8, 2021 6:30 pm - october 8, 2021 8:30 pm

The SYstèmes et Matériaux pour la MÉcatronique (SYMME) laboratory atUniversité Savoie Mont Blanc and the Coboteam Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes cluster invite you to the inaugural conference of the Science Village on the Annecy university campus. The evening will address the unprecedented issues facing our society as a result of the emergence of so-called intelligent systems, in particular robots with a high degree of autonomy. "What place for these systems in what type of society?" is the central question that will be put to participants.

Come and ask researchers and roboticists all your questions about robotics, technologies, rights and more. Join Frédéric Helin, Director of the Coboteam robotics cluster, who will lead the debate between :

  • Jade Lemaître, co-founder of HEASE Robotics;
  • Sacha Stojanovic, company director, Meanwhile ;
  • Vincent Rivollier, Professor of Law at the Antoine Favre Law Research Center, USMB;
  • Laurent Tabourot, lecturer at the USMB Systems and Materials for Mechatronics Laboratory.

Meet us on Friday, October 8, 2021 at 6:30pm in amphitheater B14 at Polytech Annecy-Chambéry, on the university campus at 5 chemin de Bellevue, Annecy-le-Vieux.
