Awareness Day - "Between ecological disasters and societal revolutions

On Thursday, April 25, 2019, starting at 12 noon in Building 8 (Espace Vie Étudiante) on the Bourget-du-Lac campus, an awareness-raising event will be held around the fight against climate disruption.

The program

Two conferences:

  • Lecture by Jacques Treiner, former professor at the Université Pierre et Marie Curie in Paris, member of the Scientific Advisory Board of The Shift Project think tank and of the Association Sauvons le climat;
  • Conference by Charles Adrien Louis, co-manager and head of energy and climate at B&L évolution, which recently published the document "How can we align ourselves on a trajectory compatible with 1.5°C? Scenarios compatible with the latest data from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), in terms of energy resources and societal evolution, will be discussed.

The conferences will be followed by a festive moment based around awareness-raising/reflection workshops on the sustainable development approach on campus.
