As part of the " Les montagnes se rencontrent "organized by the Montanea association from November 21 to 25 at the Le Manège convention center in Chambéry, a series of round-table discussions on the subject of the Grand Labo will take place on Thursday November 23, from 2pm to 5:30pm.

The Grand Labo project was born of a partnership between the Commune du Grand-Bornand (Haute Savoie) and the USMB, with the aim of measuring the region's carrying capacity with a view to preserving quality of life, environments and resources. This trans-disciplinary research project -academics - brings together more than 30 teachers and researchers, seven laboratories, the USMB Partnership Foundation and almost 500 students. This four-year project will provide elected representatives and the local population with operational indicators to equip those involved in the transition of today and tomorrow.
Round tables with researchers will present aspects of this major project. Will be on hand to present the project:
- Nathalie Kardos: senior lecturer in the EDYTEM laboratory
- Christine Piot: teacher-researcher in the EDYTEM laboratory
- Florentin Moenne-Loccoz: study engineer for the sustainable tourism chair at the Fondation USMB
