Synopsis:

Christian is a divorced father who likes to spend time with his two children. An appreciated curator of a contemporary art museum, he is also one of those people who drives an electric car and supports humanitarian causes. He is preparing his next exhibition, entitled "The Square", around an installation encouraging visitors to be altruistic and reminding them of their duty to their fellow man. But it's sometimes difficult to live up to one's values: when Christian's cell phone is stolen, his reaction does him little credit... At the same time, the museum's communications agency launches a surprising campaign for The Square: the reception is totally unexpected and plunges Christian into an existential crisis.

univerciné, the usmb cinema

The Univerciné association was set up in 1996 to promote art-house cinema and research. Since then, the Univerciné team has endeavored to fulfill this mission by offering the public in Chambéry films in a variety of genres (drama, comedy, cinema classics, fantasy, documentaries, etc.), exclusively in the original version with subtitles. In addition to its regular programming, Univerciné offers themed evenings, screenings and discussions in the presence of filmmakers and/or lecturers. Université Savoie Mont Blanc is the only university in France to have a cinema with commercial status, enabling it to show all films in national release.
