There are a certain number of calls for projects and applications relating to the international scene, at different levels, to encourage or strengthen cooperation, support international initiatives, promote mobility, etc.

Call for projects to develop cross-border collaborations between Swiss institutions(University of Geneva, University of Lausanne and Hautre Ecole Spécialisée de Suisse Occidentale (HES-SO)) and Frenchinstitutions (University of Grenoble Alpes, University of Lyon and Université Savoie Mont Blanc)

Its objective is to intensify research and to create a leverage effect favouring the participation of institutions in European funding programmes.

International call "AUF-COVID-19.2
General objective: to enhance the contribution of the higher education and research institutions members of the AUF to the development of solutions with technological and/or social impact to face the difficulties caused by the prolongation of the pandemic COVID-19.

Forgers 2022 Award
Conditions :

  • Have one member of the pair employed by a French institution, the other by a German institution
  • Be part of a laboratory in France and Germany research , attached to a higher education institution, an organisation of research, a company, a support structure (competitiveness cluster, cluster)
  • Be under 45 years of age;
  • Currently collaborating on a joint project at research ;
  • Conduct research in the fields of chemistry, health and/or pharmacology.

Finland

Maupertuis Programme
Short researcher mobility: to enable selected researchers from France and Finland to come and meet their counterparts for a short period of time (from a few days to 2 weeks).
Education, Research and Innovation" workshops: to support concrete and specific workshops in Finland or France in all fields of research excellence, in order to strengthen existing collaborations between researchers from France and Finland. It is recommended to have targeted and concrete topics to organise a workshop that can last 2 or 3 days and involve several researchers. These workshops should cover the three pillars of the knowledge triangle: research, education, innovation

Lebanon

Action Lebanon
Franco-Lebanese call to support urgent, rapid and structuring research projects of a maximum duration of 18 months, whose scientific relevance is linked to the Covid-19 pandemic and to the recent multidimensional crises that have occurred at a critical period in Lebanon's history.

Quebec

Permanent Commission for Franco-Quebec Cooperation (CPCFQ)
The CPCFQ is an instrument for coordinating exchanges between the Quebec and French administrations. It is responsible for developing and implementing a biennial program of Franco-Quebec cooperation activities, based on the target themes and priorities defined by the Quebec and French governments. Its goal is to encourage the development of new projects.

Conseil franco-québécois de coopération universitaire (CFQCU)
For university cooperation between France and Quebec and the implementation of programmes aimed at establishing strategic partnerships in teaching and research.

CFQCU - Samuel-De Champlain Programme
This program is intended for teacher-researchers from all disciplines and aims to :

  • to develop strategic inter-university partnerships between France and Quebec
  • support emerging collaborations of high-potential teams, both in France and in Quebec
  • support innovative projects which have a structuring effect and which present interesting long-term prospects
  • encourage links with actors outside the university environment (public, semi-public, private or associative sector)
  • promote the integration of French and Quebec universities into the international networks of research and academics

Russia

PhDs under joint French-Russian supervision
The French Embassy in Russia is awarding for the year 2022 PhD scholarships in co-tutorship of thesis. This funding covers 4 calendar years (3 academic years) and alternates stays in France and Russia. All scientific disciplines are concerned.
This call is open from 20 September until 17 December 2021.
