alliance campus rhodanien

Université Savoie Mont Blanc is a member of the Alliance Campus Rhodanien (ACR), which brings together French and Swiss institutions.

Introducing the Alliance

Created in 2017, the Alliance Campus Rhodanien (ACR) brings together French(Université Grenoble Alpes, Université de Lyon and Université Savoie Mont Blanc) and Swissinstitutions (University of Geneva, University of Lausanne and Haute Ecole Spécialisée de Suisse Occidentale (HES-SO).

Its aim is to intensify and promote scientific research in this internationally-renowned area of innovation, and to create a leverage effect to consolidate and amplify the participation of institutions in European funding programs.

From January 2021 and for a period of two years, the USMB will assume the presidency of this alliance, and will therefore steer the development of cross-border collaborations, notably by regularly issuing a call for projects.

Support for scientific projects

The Alliance Campus Rhodanien has launched two calls for projects:

  • a first one in 2018-2019 with no theme
  • a second in 2020-2021 focusing on digitalization and sustainable development

For each call for projects, 14 projects received financial support from the CAB, with an average budget of €13,000 per project.
